Thought I'd finally update this thing.
Anywho, so I had quite the eventful day today. Cousins came in to visit for two days so we made the most of it. We basically hit every... and I mean every or damn near every, vacation theme park/exhibit Florida has to offer. And all this in one day. So the day started off with the rise of the sun. Headed on the road and hit Universal Studios first. Went on a few rides, got bored, then trotted over to Islands of Adventures. Got wet (Get ur freaky minds out of the gutter), won some prizes, then bounced. We decided we wanted to go to Disney World, so we hoped in the car and went. Cousins went crazy with the souvineer shopping. So we hung out there for a good hour, then decided we wanted to see the dolphins, so we drove to Sea World and Discover Cove which is basically across the street from the other.
After that, we hit the WonderWorks museum, then Ripley's Believe it or Not, then the mall, then finally we decided to head down to downtown Orlando, ate some grub, then took our tired behinds home. Like I said, quite the eventful day.
Took some pics
That was WonderWorks. It freaked the hell out of me. They freaking built it upside down. lol

Dunno. Puter hasn't arrived yet.

Well, I'm officially a resident of Florida.
*sigh*
This is sooo gonna take some time getting used to. I swear, the ride from the airport to the house, all I saw was nothing but lakes upon lakes upon lakes, then a house, and a lake, then some trees, oh and another lake, a few more houses, more trees another lake... Eh, you get the picture. Ah, change of subject, I'm getting depressed just thinking about it. Lets move back a few to my last days in NY. Soo much fun. Hooopla upon hoopla of fun. Every single day last week ended with a party. We either went out clubbing, took in a movie, went to a bar, met some fellas, hung...etc. Finally got around to go seeing 'Sin City' and 'Fever Pitch'. 'Sin City' looked kewl, but it was an alright movie. 'Fever Pitch' was just ok. It had it's funny moments, but wasn't all that by any means. And considering I'm a Yankee fan, didn't bring back the best of memories at all.
What else? Oh yeah, I had my going away/birthday sleepover shin-dig. We basically had a movie marathon. We saw 'Dawn of the Dead' (not bad. I enjoyed to my surprise seeing as how I'm so not a scary movie type gal), 'The Notebook' (romantic as hell. LOVED IT. Had a few issues with some of the deleted scenes that they... well deleted from the movie), 'Mean Girls' (not bad) and 'Shark Tale' (Heelarious).
Eh, it's past midnight and I'm tired as hell. Flight was delayed and got here later than planned. Gonna hit the sacks. I'll update mananna).Current Mood: blank

| » Stuff...having to do with Miami |
Hmmm... what to talk about? Figured I should update since it's been a while. Eh, got an email from a friend today about a 'Get Away Weekend' during the Annual Black Film Festival in Miami. It's July 14th - the 18, and the cost of the stay for those 4 days will be $450.00. I figured I'll be in Florida by then, so why not. I'll probably have to drive, but I called up the pops and told him to free up those days, cause I'm gonna be needing a ride to and from.
About that price, what do you guys think? Too much or it sounds about right? The 450 includes Deluxe Hotel Accommodations, Poolside all you can eat, BBQ Party, Itinerary of activities, Parties, and Much More... or so the flyer claims. I figured it should be really fun. I'll get to see some of my friends from NY and high school again, so that's a plus.
I've been to Miami a few times before. Twice for Spring Break back when I was in College and again with a hoopla of friends just for fun. And oddly enough, the same day I recieve the email about Miami, I get another email from another friend wanting to do something fun for Memorial Weekend. She was thinking about Cancun Mexico or Virginia Beach. Don't know yet if I'll be doing the Memorial Day thing. It's too soon after I move and I probably won't be settled yet by that time.
Eh, we'll see.

| » Omarion Mall Concert |
Oh wow. So I ditch work today to take my friends sister who happens to be 13 years of age to the mall to see a free concert with Omarion. He was in that group, of which I can't remember the name right now, but one of the other members name was Jboog... or something.
Anywho, I made it a priority to get there early which was a blessing for that mall was freaking packed with an abundance of screaming hollering teenagers. My god, them chicas had some lungs on them. I think I may be deaf, that's how loud they were screaming. The younster and I had a good time and apparently I'm her number one sister's friend. I was somewhere down the line around #6, but I've moved up. Go me!!
